Special Family Film Day – Thursday 13 August

Join us for a special daytime edition of our popular Thursday Film Night at Thornham Village Hall — perfectly timed to welcome our younger audience during the summer holidays.

Whilst we can’t announce the film titles online, you can find out what’s showing by checking the Hall’s notice board, signing up to our e-newsletter, or simply emailing us.

We'll be showing a fun double feature, with a break in between for lunch, a chance to stretch your legs, and time for the children to enjoy our wonderful playground. You're welcome to attend either film or stay for both — the choice is yours. There will also be children's craft activities available throughout the day (£2 per child).

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Kids' lunch boxes are available to pre-order, alongside our popular vegetarian and non-vegetarian charcuterie platters. Drinks and classic cinema snacks will also be available to purchase on the day.

Entry: Free of charge – no ticket required. Donations to help keep this community initiative going are gratefully received on the door.
Kids' lunch boxes: £5 per child (must be pre-ordered)
Charcuterie platters: £7.50 each (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available; must be pre-ordered)
Extras: Drinks and classic cinema snacks available to purchase
Doors open: 10.30am
First screening starts: 11.00am
