Winter Warmer: Sharon Ring

Speaker: Sharon Ring
Mischlinge

Sharon is a lifelong journalist whose discovery of a hidden memoir revealed the extraordinary experiences of her mother Edie and uncle Heinz, persecuted as children under the Nazis because they had Jewish grandparents. The material spans the 1936 Olympics, Gestapo HQ, slave labour, Palestine, life behind the Berlin Wall and London, and her book brings to light a much less widely known story of the Holocaust and Second World War.

Signed copies of Mischlinge, published by HarperCollins, will be available to buy at the event.
