Community Cinema: Encore - Theatre Screening
Description
Join us for a special Theatre Encore screening of a much-loved Chekhov classic, starring Toby Jones in the title role.
Set on a crumbling country estate, this beautifully observed production explores family tensions, thwarted hopes, old loyalties and the quiet heartbreak of lives not quite lived as planned. Tender, funny and deeply human, it is a wonderful chance to enjoy world-class theatre on screen at Thornham Village Hall.
Because of licensing restrictions, we are not able to publish the title of this screening online. Full details are available on the Hall noticeboard, in our printed programme, or by contacting us directly.
Our screenings at Thornham are always a special occasion — a warm, friendly atmosphere paired with exceptional theatre makes for a truly enjoyable Theatre Sunday.
This screening is free to attend although donations on the door are very welcome! A pre-or post-theatre meal at The Orange Tree must be booked in advance below.
Community Cinema Live is kindly supported by Fraser Dawbarns Solicitors.
Pre- or post-theatre meal at The Orange Tree: £25
